Live life by your heartbeat
With the ever changing and ever developing world that we are living in today it is more important than ever to "live life by our heartbeat". Now is the time to think for ourselves and not subscribe to the trendy or popular ideas. With reception of media at such a fast delivery rate via internet/mobile delivery systems, we have to strengthen our filter and fine tune it to recognize what we don't agree with and unite with other like minded people to do something. There are so many of us who choose to ignore the bad in order to keep the good. But my question to that logic is, if there are so many ignoring the bad, is there really any true good? We are meant to help each other, this is proven by human nature in its rawest form, almost anyone who is reading this will agree that if there is a person in true need, with a life threatening problem, they will help them. This is not wrong, this is humanity. We are all so concerned about who or what we know, we don't get the chance to know ourselves. We barrel through life like a bull in Spain. We follow the masses and all chase the same prize whether or not we truly know what we want. We convince ourselves that we want the things that others have because they look happy with those things, when really we only want the happiness those things seem to bring. Acquiring all of the things you could ever imagine having will not give you the happiness you are seeking. You must seek inward for this happiness, you must open up the inner most part of your heart and come to terms with what is contained there, this is the first step to enlightenment, this is the first step to finding happiness, know yourself and others will seek to know you. It is not easy to meld your mind and heart and its even harder to live in line with both, especially with the judgement and criticism, based on fear, that is prevalent in the world. The point here is the sooner you seek to know yourself, the sooner you can break though those bindings that hold you and live life in harmony with what you know to be right. Don't just be you, know you.

Never give up
Sometimes in life there have to be changes. Sometimes there has to be sacrifices. The only thing that stays the same is that change is inevitable if you dwell on the change and throw yourself a pity party you will be the only one attending. Everyone has problems, everyone lives life differently. The interesting thing about decisions is that they need to be made and they cannot be changed. The only thing you can do is accept the decisions you make, whether they are good or bad, they are still decisions. Some make you incredibly happy and feel very good. Some decisions end in tragedy and heart ache. The good news is that no circumstance is permanent, they are only temporary, and a new decision leads to a new circumstance. The only way to totally fail in life is to quit making decisions. There are many people in this world that after they make too many wrong decisions, they just give up, they concede, they accept the temporary circumstance as a permanent. Don't be that person. Don't stop making decisions, don't give up on life. The best news of all is that as long as we are still alive we still have a chance to make new choices. We still have a chance to decide differently. I know it's cliche but the saying is true, if life hands you lemons, make lemonade! All decisions don't have to be huge or monumental, they can be small and simple. As long as they are in the right direction, they are worth making. Baby steps are still steps, they lead to an end goal. The decisions you make today will always effect your tomorrow, and if they are still the wrong ones, you will have another chance to make new one's. Thus is that quirky thing we call life, thus is the foundation of human existence. Man has been making decisions since the dawn of time. If they hadn't there would be no such thing as war, serial killing, or the holocaust. On the other side of the double edged sword there would never have been society, democracy, or even organized religion. Its not always the right decision but a new opportunity arises from every decision. Life is too short to be indecisive, life is too short to hold a grunge against any decision. To dwell on mistakes is to sentence yourself to a life of torment and despair. Live a life dedicated to making a difference, to making decisions that improve you circumstance, that make the world a better place for those around you and the end result is bound to be a fulfilling life. Never stop deciding, never give up. Never stop chasing happiness.

Waiting for life to come
Life moves fast, don't miss it! If you sit by and wait for it then it will be done before you know it. You have to grab a hold of the reigns and ride it! Life is not a tame pony, it's a wild stallion that is unpredictable and ever changing. You have to be willing to take the bucks and the bruises to ride it to success. If you choose to just watch is run by, you will never win the ribbon. There are many people who choose the path of least resistance because it's "easy", well, life isn't supposed to be easy! If life is easy then your doing something wrong. Life is supposed to be fulfilling, and rewarding. It's supposed to develop as you get further along the path. The path of least resistance creates no friction, and a life without friction creates no sparks, involves no passion, and develops no flames. A life filled with adversity and challenge will build character and strength and a blazing inferno of passion for living! Don't avoid the sparks because they may burn you... Gallop through the flames because they could ignite you! Live a life full of enthusiasm and you will be an inspiration of what to do instead of an example of what not to do. Most of all, if that blazing stallion called life bucks you off swallow your pride, stand up, dust your self off, and jump back on, if you don't you'll miss the ride.

A Few Weeks in.
In life there are times when it's up and times when it's down. A few weeks back I would have told you that I was stuck on the down, and the elevator was broken. A few weeks later I can tell you that maintenance fixed it... or at least i am taking the stairs. I am on a much better path by doing this than the dead end path I was on before. If you don't enjoy what you do... stop doing it. If you enjoy what you do... congratulations! You are a member of an elite group of humans who are happy. When you look up to the stars to make wishes know that there are only a few of us that understand that wishes don't just happen. We have to work hard to make them come true. If you think that they will just suddenly happen, your lying to your self. It takes hours, days, weeks, months, even years of work to make each little wish happen. The fault of some people is that they just make the wish and expect someone or something else to do all the work for them. I choose not to believe that wishes just come true... not that I have always been that way but through the test of time I have found it to be so. If you are unwilling to work for your own wishes and dreams then how can anyone expect that anyone else will work for them? Life is a footrace, the only way that you will make it to the finish line is if you choose to run or at least walk it and give it a try! If you walk halfway through the race and give up, what do you win? If you make an effort and fall down what does it pay to not get up? Fail forward in careers, life, and love. Keep going for your wishes because no one else will keep going for you if you don't. This is the next leg of the race called my life and I don't expect handouts or head starts... the only difference between a success and a failure is that the success tried one more time...
